FAQ

Some common questions

Why use Sunshine Coast Visas?

Sunshine Coast Visas is one of the longer operating agencies on the Sunshine Coast, centrally based near Maroochydore servicing the whole Sunshine Coast region and beyond.  We are based near Maroochydore shopping district and Sunshine Plaza.  Our principal migration agent has over 14 years experience as a migration agent and some 20 years in the immigration industry.  We offer value for money services and dont stop working until your visa application or other immigration or citizenship matter is decided. The agent is accessible via electronic email, via text or via phone for signed clients.  Business premises hours are not relevant to your ability to communicate to agent.

Can a migration agent or migration lawyer guarantee an immigration outcome?

This is the easiest question to answer - no immigration agent or immigration lawyer can guarantee a visa outcome as it would be illegal. You can be told prospects of success.  Provided the clients comply with agent requests and provide all required evidences and meet all legislated criteria then on balance your visa or other matter should be granted.  Using our expert migration agent will help ensure that your visa application submissions (or for sponsored matters an employer or family members sponsor application and submissions) are in compliance with legislation. What we can guarantee is to provide expert advice and on demand access to your agent

How much will it cost?

This will vary depending on a number of factors such as:

  • the visa subclass or matter being assisted

  • the experience of the immigration agent or immigration lawyer - the length of time they have acted as a migration agent and the types of matters they assist

  • is the matter a re-application due to refusal or an appeal matter

Just to name a few.  Sunshine Coast Visas assists first time matters and complex matters such as visa refusals, unlawful applicants,  employer sponsors who may be breaching sponsorship obligations.  Fees are commensurate.

Is a paid initial consultation needed

No.  We do NOT require initial consultation fee in all cases.  For many matters we will provide free initial consultation via phone call or email. Some visas do not require "assessment" - if you have a genuine partner relationship and are onshore with a valid visa there is little to assess.  The visa subclass to be used will usually be very obvious (and we explain options (offshore or onshore) in our quotes).  Employer enquiries are provided free consultation for most sponsorship matters
